Chapter Six
The following week I had to drive to Busselton for some parts to our broken tractor and texted Sam to see if we could meet up. I wasn’t specifically looking for sex. I had actually thought to catch a meal with him and chat for a while. He replied with his apologies that he was in Perth for a couple of days, which was a two-hour drive north. I was disappointed, but shrugged it off and conducted the business I needed to.
He rang and told me when he was home, and I found a reason to head back to town. Luckily I worked for family because I didn’t quite make it back to the farm that afternoon.
Being a photographer for hire, Sam flew off to a lot of exotic locations over the next months. There were the two weeks he spent in Fiji, a week in Melbourne, ten days in Alice Springs, and a quick job for two days in Tasmania. Sometimes he was home for only a day, other times he hung around for weeks.
During those weeks we spent a lot of time together. Sam would get me to model for him if I had a spare day and we explored the south-west region of Western Australia together, choosing places within a ninety-minute drive from home. He took photos of me in many scenic locations, from coastal areas to forests. There were a lot of caves Sam had never been to that we visited and stayed at for hours.
We climbed all the way to the top of the Gloucester Tree in Pemberton, checked out every lighthouse that took visitors from Bunbury to Windy Harbour, tramped the Bibbulmun Track through forests, four-wheel-drove, surfed, paddleboarded, and swam.
Exploring out-of-the-way nature trails became a favourite activity of mine. The south-west had plenty of them, and they were not densely populated, which meant we could get our funk on in nature and not worry about visitors. There were plenty of beaches that we could swim naked at, but the trails were more exciting. We’d often stumble across a small stream and all we’d have to do was follow the stream uphill, around the bend, and we’d have instant privacy without worrying about perhaps being lost.
At first Sam was nervous, always looking out to make sure no one was coming. I wanted someone to come, but not in that way. I wanted to make Sam come. In the beginning he’d only consent to dropping his pants so I could suck him off. I would tell him no one would see us, and after a while he relaxed enough to pull the rest of his clothes off when we were away from the trails. I told him over and over again how sexy I thought he looked, naked in nature, but he scoffed at himself.
“What? Me? Look at me, Moe. I’m skinny and have no muscles to speak of.”
I couldn’t keep my hands off him, tracing the length of his abdomen and sweeping my hands over his back.
